I caved in and spent the $35 to get a 1 month membership at East York Community Centre. The facilities are obviously outdated but until the gym re-opens (which I have this gut feeling that it won't be Jan 2nd as stated on the giant billboard with the Mike Holmes looking dude) this will be where I will be getting my workouts in. Most of the other locations available on our temporary "Open Membership" are downtown where paid parking is required or too far away.
