Just for your information, my personal opinion is that the BBB for the Toronto area is "in the pockets" of EF. What that means is that you should still file a complaint, but judging from what I have been hearing, many of your complaints against them are brushed off, for some inexplicable reason(s).

Also, when reviewing the BBB report on this company, one's natural inclination is to believe that "some people just like to complain"; that is, it is easy to believe that some of the issues are non-issues, especially considering the number of cases that ARE resolved. The facts show quite the opposite case. Many of these so-called Administratively Closed (summarily marked as resolved) cases, were not resolved complaints. Usually, they were just not reasonable offers by the company. This is particularly true where the BBB ruled that the company tried to make "satisfactory attempts" to amend but the client refused. I know from personal experiences, mine included, that the so-called offers were ludicrous. No one in their right mind would accept the 2 or 3 solid weeks when you stopped going to the gym altogether as an offer for 6 to 8 months of construction. Especially when the request was to free the client from their contracts and give them a refund. A month's compensation is not a rational, let alone reasonable or fair attempt at an offer of compensation.

So looking at the BBB website with respect to Extreme Fitness Danforth, my suggestion is that you at least double the number of unresolved cases, and at least half the number of so-called attempts at resolving.
