This evening not only was there no hot water in the women's washroom -- perhaps also in the men's so I am posting a new thread -- but also, as I was leaving, there was a workman in the locker room, between two rows!

This was at 4:45.

He was very easy to miss.

Sometime between my entry into the gym and my departure, a ''sign'' went up -- an 8x11 typewritten sheet -- warning female members that workmen might be present. Not only was easy to miss but it was not up a mere 45 minutes earlier. What's more, many of us don't work out with our glasses/contacts -- AND, between all the other ''signs'' announcing the lack of hot water, telling us to clear our lockers etc. it was simply lost.

When I complained to the young woman at the desk, who was yakking away on a personal call, she said, yes, the sign ''Just went up, sorreeeeeeeee.''

Not good enough.

I bet that right now, as I type this, some woman is getting a nasty shock -- and not from the cold water.
