Is anyone having problems renewing their membership with Extreme Fitness? About a month after taking over from Oxygen Fitness, Extreme lost the "paid in full" part of my membership, three times!!! I had to carry my contract around in my wallet! They did this to a number of members. Did anyone lose their membership because of this?

Why are you renewing? I am not.

There is a gym on Pape I am checking out, plus Riverdale Fitness near Jones.

This month's VISA showed my partner and I were double billed for the month. After speaking with the manager, we were told that next month would be free, then after that our fees would increase by $20/month each! 'That's the best I can do.' Previously, they had agreed to our "perpetual' membership held over from Oxygen. I am disgusted with EXtreme and their attitude. We're outa here. Do people know there is a Good Life opening at Coxwell and Gerrard?

Jaysus K-rice. Not only did I stay too long; I paid too much!!

$59 was "the best they could do" for me.

Pure Fitness is where I landed. Brand new in January '07. Ex-Oxygen principals behind it. A lot of ex-Oxygen / ex-Extreme members there too.

Across from Winners/Lowrey's Piano in the Eggy West and Laird area.

You have to drive there unfortunately (well I guess you could bike or TTC it), but for the drivers, there is a lot of free parking onsite.
