I must say I don't find the desk staff very friendly or welcoming. There is a blond girl who is often there when I use the gym around 5 pm and she is usually talking on the phone and does not say hello or even make eye contact. I wonder why they have done away with the self scanning of cards if there is no intention of customer service/contact.
One day a man in front of me complained that this staff person had kept him waiting when she was obviously engaged in a personal conversation. She replied that she "is not your slave you know". |

To be honest with you Chris, this happens to me all the time, at all hours of day, meaning afternoon and evenings. I stand there waiting patiently, while she is obviously engaged in personal conversation, looking at me like I'm just annoying her, while people pile up behind me, giving me dirty looks for holding them up. Again, the customer service at Extreme is the worst I have ever experienced from any company in my entire life.
I spoke with the staff member, the guy in at nights, about the equipment being all over the place when I go to use it, having to hunt for it all the time, or tripping over it, he basically said, yeah man this place sucks, I have to put all this back when we close. Well, hello, it's his job to make sure it's being put back, and if it's not put back and in the right place, it's his job to do it. And not at the end of the night, but regularly. Why am I paying all this staff (this new sea of red shirts, “the cult” I call it) if they just sit on their butts?! |

| When they are on the phone dealing with their personal stuff I usually wait a few seconds and if they are too busy I just walk right in. I have done this about 5 times and they have never stopped me or ended their conversation. Any chance a bunch of us could get together and meet with the management as a group? |

I have to say that some staffers are great.
Unfortunately I don't know their names but I do know their faces. |

I am interested in meeting as a group, most certainly. May I ask, do you think we have the basis of a class action law suit? Thanks.
Anyone interested in meeting, please let us know in this forum posting. Thanks. |
